Junior Database Developer Intern

InGroup is an innovative outreach communications, marketing, and public relations solutions provider for government/public-sector as well as private-sector clients focused on delivering unmatched service, strategy and creativity.  This is a paid internship for a junior database developer assist with the design, development and maintenance of databases, 10-15 hours per week for one-to-two semester(s).

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming or a related IT degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MYSQL, Filemaker Pro and other software
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Outreach Manager

Serve as an Outreach Project Manager for a fast-growing, qualified and small business certified business in NY/NJ specializing in outreach communications, marketing, and public relations that focuses on delivering unmatched service, strategy and creativity for its public and private sector clients. The Project Manager will:

  • Help develop project plan, track progress, navigate changes; scope of work, schedule and budget
  • Manage relationship with the client, internal team and all project stakeholders
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects that vary in complexity and size
  • Follow-up with team members to ensure that tasks are completed on time and reaching key milestones
  • Conduct community and stakeholder engagement activities associated with the project
  • Prepare budgets and proposals for projects
  • Communicate relevant project information with management and client
  • Perform outreach duties and public relations work as needed

Requirements

  • Four years in a related field/industry (government, community advocacy, transportation and infrastructure planning)
  • Proven track record of coordinating numerous projects at various stages of development
  • High degree of independence, initiative, responsibility and accountability
  • Prior outreach and engagement experience with a relevant audience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  with solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be willing to work from Rochelle Park, NJ office and travel to client meetings during day and/or occasional evening in the tristate area
