Business Office Manager

Responsible for all back office operations including customer billing, receivables, payables, payroll, government filings, liaison to outside IT provider, HR functions, and general office management functions. The person we are seeking will first and foremost have a strong desire to build a business and grow professionally in a fast paced environment. In addition to being an eager learner, this individual must have at least 5 years of business experience, strong organizational skills, desire to take full responsibility for their role, commitment to thoroughness and accuracy at the detail level, good interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Communications Associate: Public Relations

InGroup is a fast-growing marketing and public relations firm specializing in outreach communications admired for its unmatched service, strategy, and creativity. We are seeking an experienced communications specialist to become part of our dedicated and talented team as a Communications Associate who will develop content and key messaging for public and private sector projects. At least three years of prior public relations and/or agency marketing experience required. Experience with media relations, community involvement issues, and/or industries such as energy, engineering, or transportation and infrastructure a plus.


  • Bachelor or higher degree preferred
  • Experience, minimum three years in communications or related field
  • Proficient with social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience or understanding of basic marketing concepts / tools
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to demonstrate quality assurance for deliverables

Deputy Project Manager

Serve as an Deputy Project Manager for a fast-growing, qualified and small business certified business in NY/NJ specializing in outreach communications, marketing, and public relations that focuses on delivering unmatched service, strategy and creativity for its public and private sector clients. The associate will:

  • Help develop project plan, track progress, navigate changes; scope of work, schedule and budget
  • Manage relationship with the client, internal team and all project stakeholders
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects that vary in complexity and size
  • Follow-up with team members to ensure that tasks are completed on time and reaching key milestones
  • Conduct community and stakeholder engagement activities associated with the project
  • Prepare budgets and proposals for projects
  • Communicate relevant project information with management and client
  • Perform outreach duties and public relations work as needed
  • Quality-review deliverables


  • Four years in a related field/industry (government, community advocacy, transportation and infrastructure planning)
  • Proven track record of coordinating numerous projects at various stages of development
  • High degree of independence, initiative, responsibility and accountability
  • Prior outreach and engagement experience with a relevant audience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be willing to travel to client meetings during day and/or occasional evening meetings throughout the tristate area
