Videos Featuring Real Passengers Put New Spin On Outreach

As Outreach Communications professionals, we’re always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to engage with the public. That’s why we’re sending kudos to The Rapid, Grand Rapid, Michigan’s bus system, for its “There’s More to the Ride” video campaign that features real bus passengers. The videos focus on how the bus service has helped individuals overcome a particular challenge: An autistic young man found a degree of independence from learning how to ride the buses on his own. Another young man foregoes the expense of automobile ownership thanks to the city’s robust bus service.
